Im not sure what Ive done wrong. Im guessing that this is to do with the database right?. It seems that I can connect to the datatbase, just not the user.

Hey Im using this Mod and its worked great. I have one question though. How do I make it so that it accepts uppercase and lowercase because it would work with uppercase, for example if I put password, it would work, but not if I put Password. How can I make it so that it accepts either,

I changed the cookie name and I think that it has worked, One member has said that they can now login.
Im not sure if this is the right thread for this but seen as you brought it up, do you know how to make my spambot prevention accept uppercase and lowercase?

I can login to their account, which is wierd as they cannot. Thats why I thought it must be a cookies issue, which it probably is.

Oh yeah, I know that it does not allow uppercase but I dont know how to make it allow uppercase and lowercase. I havnt really had time to sort that out yet because of the login problem.

Help anyone? I rlly need to get this sorted. Is there a step to step guide of moving server anywhere?

I dont think it can be, they have always been able to login at the old server.

I dont know if this has any relevance but when moving my forum to the new server I dont think I ran install.php.

I just used the old config.php, I didnt instal it because when I instal it and then restore the database it says it cant because the tables already exist. Do I need to install it properly? Is that why it dosnt work?

Oh yeah, I see them. What do I need to change? The config file is the same one from my last server, I just uploaded it to my new server and change the database info. I didnt modify the cookies.

Hey, im having this problem too.

I backed up my old database, installed a new forum, ran install.php and then restored the database. All the posts and everything worked fine but some members have said they cannot login. I can login fine and some others can but some cannot.
One member who said they could not log in gave me their password and I found that I could login as them, although they cannot.

This is what happens when they try to login:

"Anytime I try with the password that I thought it was, it brings me back to the topics page saying "you are not logged in" but any time I type in a password that I'm pretty sure it isn't, it just tells me that I have the wrong password"

What could be causing this and how can I fix it?
