i can change a persons status when i look up the user. but for some reason i cant find the ability to add that person to moderate the forum. like im an administrator but there is no other options to add my name to the forums.

where is this link. because i get to that administration page by going to admin_index.php, if there is a page to go too. those are the options i have that you see. if i upgrade to the new version do i just upload the folder to the forums files i have now and it overrides it.

nothing there. kinda strange. i tried to find something in the mysql under viewforums.php and i put in the username of the moderators. under that section. i save it. and nothing worked. must be a boo boo! lol

check what box for what forum. i see a random box next to the categories in the admin. but when i click it and look at the forums still my username doesnt show up. can i edit it through the mysql database?

that worked smartys! man u are a genius! one more question. on the forums, it says moderated by, with nothing next to it. meaning my name should be there. since im an admin or do i need to set someone to be a mod to make it say something

ok i got it all up and working and when i try to add, an moderater. I get this error message.
Bad referer. You were referred to this page from an unauthorized source. Please go back and try again. If the problem persists please make sure that 'Base URL' is correctly set in Admin/Options and that you are visiting the forum by navigating to that URL.

ok i got it backup. how do i access the moderators section of the forums? is there a url. that i can delete forums and sections. thanks. i am the mod in the moderators. im clueless
