Probably not much since most if not all of those mods were built for a more current version of PunBB. Updating to 1.2.17 would be the best thing to do first.

Upgrade to the latest version first off. Then look into some spam prevention mods like CAPTCHA or something like that.

What helpdesk software is that?

So you come to Punbb's forums asking for help modding ipb? That's rich....

"Additional Menu Items" in Admin > Options

It's only board wide and not category specific but it's in Admin > Options look for "User post count". NOTE: The admins can still see the post count.

Rickard has a real world job I'm sure takes up his time too. Maybe same for Connorhd.

Custom post fields that show up as predefined content in a post. Text areas, text fields, radio buttons, check boxes, etc. etc.

example of a post:

FIELD 1: answer
FIELD 2: answer
FIELD 3: answer
----------------------------------

Regular post content

Making the fields forum category specific too would be very much appreciated. So each category can have it's own custom fields.

This is the only post I'm going to make in this thread... which went on WAYYY too long IMHO.

READ their TOS which links to the "Acceptable Usage Policy"
I'll even quote it here for you. But it's the 3rd paragraph of the AUP(Acceptable Usage Policy):

Activity which results in the suspension or deactivation of an account will result in a forfeiture of all fees paid. Complaints made regarding abuses of an account will be investigated and if found guilty will be grounds for immediate suspension.

In plain English this means if YOU do something to violate their TOS and get shut off or suspended, THEY DON'T HAVE TO REFUND ANYTHING. It's not hard to understand. You agreed to it when you signed up.

Q

That's all up to the setup and the admin of said machine NOT the OS.

Why on earth is there 2 threads about this?

Most mods are still compatible but you have to edit the install_mod.php file to include the latest version in the array.

I'm not affiliated with PunBB but I'm sure that copyright is fine.

That's pretty cool! Appears to save the print preview page as a pdf. This could come in handy.

Link to said PDFCreator? This sounds interesting.

You must have downloaded an extension for 1.3. It's an XML file.

TO ALL: This is just a suggestion. The staff have not endorsed this. For all I know Paul has other plans for the default styles.

Q: How do I get banned from the PunBB support forums?

A: Spam your crappy WoW and Warhammer site.

EDIT: Previous post deleted which is why this one no longer makes sense smile

I think we got a bit off track here. tongue

Maybe the styles contest that's been discussed could be done BEFORE 1.3 final? And include the top 4-5 styles as default styles? Just a thought. Of course guidelines and rules regarding validation of code would need to be included.

Thoughts?
