i am going to put my PunBB 1.2.20 from test server to live server. obviously, base URL for test server is different from live server. can any one tell how to go migrate from test to live server. i mean what files needs to be copies, what database entries to change on live server etc. if u can point me to any related tutorial, what would be great.

Is there any mod for activating new user registrations through email?
What i actually need is that when a new user registers to punbb forum,
he will receive an email containing his username, password and a link to activate his account.
the account will not get activated unless this activation link is clicked.
Please keep in mind that im using 1.2.20

The same idea.
Though, it would be easier to you to apply the patch, if you have many mods installed.
can u point me to the thread that gives more details about this?

You mean you used the 1.217 to .20 patch. Yes, it must include all the changes: 1.2.17->.18->.19->.20.

hmm i got the point. one more thing...i updated 1.12.17 to 1.12.20. will this update have all the changes that were in 1.12.19 update?
