Has anyone seen, made or thought of making a site that hosts punbb forums for free? like proboards etc, for all those people out thier who don't want to pay for full php hosting but want a forum for their site, because if not and if there is some interest shown in this i'd be happy to set this up

Are you running your own webserver? if so could you setup mysql? if not how about setting up punbb on some other hosting temporarily and then when 1.2 is out properly moving back to your webserver?

only thing is maybe (just maybe) if both of them are disabled then the hosts really don't want you to send emails and therefore its probably a bad idea

ok i'm going to leave it with no text by the side of it it just gets too big and messes up, i have made it so guests can see but not vote, you can't vote on your posts or where you last voted, and cleaned up the html to be tabbed properly etc changed the if statements a bit cos it was messing up on closed forums, i dunno if any other mods affect the options in the bottom right of each post but if they do they are not compatible with this mod without some editing, i'm going to stop doing this for tonight and tomorrow probably do the users profile bar, and release the mod properly as a beta

for a suggestion maybe try it centered and also stop the forum from resizing when you make the screen bigger as it grows biggere than the rest of the site

ok how about just blocking (i don't know regular expressions) this
(forum_path)*.php*
as you only need to block scripts on that forum and that would stop any php scripts on the actual forum being run but would allow php images from anywhere else ot be accessed
the only problem with this is you could be logged out of other forums by that forum e.g. this forum from my forum
