how can I set permission to view a certain cathegory only by a certain group or user ( the chosen cathegory shoud not be visible to any other user)?

due to a failure of the e-mail to finalyze registration, some users that tried to register are not displayed in the user list, and is not possible to re-register: how can I recover their dates?
