I didn't know that symbol. I like this cross one : ?.

Well the forum is down for repairs now so I can't see what it said.

I think it said something like "Invalid usage" though I could of got that from the game.

Neither of the 2 options worked.

Must be the server, again x-x

"Number of posts greater than
Number of posts less than"
In admin controls, I tried searching both of those, but none worked. Do they work for you? yikes

Well, I leave my computer on over night, It looks a bit wierd when I'm on the list not moderating when people make threads directly aimed at me.

I don't have administration controls, though I will ask if needed.

Thanks smile

did you type your email address correctly? i know it sounds stupid but iits very easy

That's impossible. It dosn't ask for an e-mail account.
I'll do something in paint to show you want i'm trying to say.

This is what I see:

Edit
Hrmm, well after having an interesting conversation with Connorhd over IRC, we have found the problem and I will now fix it.
Sorry for any inconveniences and thankyou for all your help smile

Is there an IRC server for the official PunBB website? It'd be kool if there was one. Just a suggestion if there isn't already one.

What doesn't work? E-mailing yourself through the mail form? There's nothing in PunBB that would stop you from doing that. Maybe it's a problem with your mail configuration. Did you get an error message?

No, I didn't an error message. I got the message that the mail was delivered successfully.

This (if I understand you correctly) has been fixed in the next version.

Well, I thought I'd e-mail myself on the forum that I'm working on to check if it worked so I could then give out warnings through e-mails.

Well, unfortunatly it dosn't work. Could you please fix this for the future versions? thanks smile
Also, I don't know if this is a bug on all the forums but on the one I work on (Version: 1.1.5) the IP is the one of the default server. I'd like to know if that could be fixed too..

Thankyou, I'll check back tomorrow for replies.

I'm a moderator there.. I believe I posted some code to fix the problem on the forum itself:

<?php
/* Yonder is a slightly modified function what am gotten from yuor forumz */
function get_remote_address()
{
    // If HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR is set we grab the first address in the list
    if (isset($_SERVER['HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR']))
    {
        if (preg_match('/[0-9]{1,3}\.[0-9]{1,3}\.[0-9]{1,3}\.[0-9]{1,3}/', $_SERVER['HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR'], $addresses))
            return "HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR was set: ".$addresses[0];
    }

    // If no address was found in HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR, we try HTTP_CLIENT_IP and if that isn't set we return REMOTE_ADDR
    return (isset($_SERVER['HTTP_CLIENT_IP'])) ? "CLIENT_IP was set: {$_SERVER['HTTP_CLIENT_IP']}" : "REMOTE_ADDR was set: {$_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']}";
}
echo get_remote_address()."<br />".$_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'];
?>

Unfortunatly, we didn't get to use the code.. But none the less, the IP range still isn't working eventhough we had updated the forum.
