I used Firefox 3.0.5 & Google Chrome 2.0.157.0 (7814). Both has the same problem, but only when I do login. There is no problem when I logout and browser forum as guest.

Maybe the menu "Subscribe" is the cause ?

Hi,
Just installed 1.3.2 and I see a small problem with CSS in viewtopic head:

I used default style Oxygen. Anyone has the same ?

Thanks,

My friend has a simple demo here : http://lab.winkr.net/conlua/test.html
I applied this stuff and it works well in our punbb forum.
Just my 0.02 euro smile

Jeremie, MySQL fulltext indexing is in the todo list for PunBB 1.3.

MySQL fulltext supports UTF-8 ? I mean MySQL 5.x

If user can "edit posts" the option "delete posts" is not so important. Because he/she can turn his post become a "empty post". A "empty post" is also the same as "deleted post" :-)

Thanks  vnpenguin.

So it looks like I'll need to upgrade MySQL to 4.1 or better in order for this to work.

I'm using MySQL 5.x smile

We use UTF-8 charset for Vietnamese. Searching with vietnamese utf-8 word is ok for us.

Agree with pogenwurst !
For this reason, I modified Punbb's code for our forum smile

Ah, I see. Well, that's not something we can "solve". URL encoding is what it is.

So why add encoded text into "fancy" url ? Could you give me a sample for this ? I can not imagine a "fancy" url with encoded text sad

Smartys wrote:

I think that's a limitation of UTF-8 in URLs wink
The issue is browers that don't support IDN and users that have turned it off due to spoofing concerns (I know I have it off)

Yeah, I think too.

But

Rickard wrote:

Well, I can't imagine there would be any problems with that.

So Rickard does he have a magical solution ?

smile

I don't know really what do you mean "fancy urls with UTF-8 text". But in vi.wikipedia.org one uses UTF-8, and I see the URL like :

_http://vi.wikipedia.org/wiki/Th%E1%BB%83_lo%E1%BA%A1i:Tin_h%E1%BB%8Dc

It's not so fancy at all :-)
So I would like to see your solution for this smile Thanks.

Exactly. The subject can be in the link, but only for SEO and "esthetical" reasons.

And how about UTF-8 encoding text ? Can we use it without any problem in URL definition ?

Why need chmod 777 these folders ? I think just upload CSS file to folders style & eventually style/import. That's not enough ?.
