I just tried putting in phpbb_ as the prefix and it works very well actually

I am on the page where it asking for the phpbb database
and the phpbb prefix. For the Phpbb database I am writing
username_forum
and for the prefix i have tried typing
username_
I have also tried leaving it blank
I click on start conveter and
the error I am coming up with is
"unable to get table;users"
Any ideas?

so, does punbb and the converter have to be running in the same folder as my current copy of PHPbb to work or does it not matter on the location of the original forum?

Hi,
I am using Phpbb on my website but would really like to change over to Punbb.
I would love to start using Punbb on my site but would like to keep all current info, ie users, posts etc...
I have downloaded the converter and tried to start using it but am unsure about how to use the converter and I am paranoid that I will end up losing the information in my current forum.
Could someone possibly give me a simple 'walkthrough' as to how to start the converter and what info do I need to add and where do i put it.
I have already posted in the 'mod' forum (www.punres.org) but have not had much luck with any help/advice as I realise that postign in your fourm (in here) may not be the correct place to post such a question.
