CROCODILE HUNTER DEATH TO BE BROADCAST?

The footage of late Australian naturalist STEVE IRWIN being killed by a stingray could be shown on TV. Charismatic Irwin, dubbed the Crocodile Hunter after his internationally acclaimed TV show, died yesterday (04SEP06) while diving on Australia's Great Barrier Reef. Irwin was filming for a new documentary when he lost his life, and his cameraman shot the moment when the stingray's barbed tail stabbed the legendary conservationist through the heart. The tapes are currently being held by Queensland police - but Irwin's family are determined to respect his last wishes and allow the harrowing footage to be broadcast. Irwin once insisted, "My number one rule is to keep that camera rolling. Even if it's shaky or slightly out of focus, I don't give a rip. "Even if a big old alligator is chewing me up I want to go down and go, 'Crikey!' just before I die. That would be the ultimate for me." An insider tells British newspaper the Daily Star, "This is exactly what Steve would have wanted. He knew the dangers and was totally up for the cameras to get everything."

That seems fitting. The man made his living by showing animals to the world. Just because something bad happened doesn't mean he wouldn't want it to be shown. Things like this do happen in real life. Why not show all aspects of nature?

This man will be missed.

Did you e-mail Digg support? They might have assumed that you were a "diggbot."

I've been with Digg since the first public beta. I am in love with it.

Wow. That was pretty terrible. +Digg

Talent is overrated, anyway. wink

You guys do know that you don't have to use MyPunBB, right? I'm sure Connor knows what's going on. Posting over and over again about how it's down really won't help anything.

I'm not quite sure what you mean, but you might be talking about sub-forums.

Here is a mod from PunRes that allows Sub Forums:

It looks nice, but you got my hopes up with "PSO." I thought this was a Phantasy Star Online board. :-(

But on the upside, your logo looks really nice.

I use the popular Firefox extension NoScript. It turns off Javascript for all sites that I have not whitelisted. When I visit your site with No Script activated, I get this error. You might want to look into that.

With more information coming out from Telltale about the new Sam & Max episodic series of games, I'm starting to get really excited about it. I was (and I still am) a huge fan of Sam & Max: Hit the Road. The unique brand of humor that comes along with the Dog/Rabbit crew really appeals to me. There needs to be more humor in gaming like there is in Hit the Road. I'll shell out a few bucks for a new Sam & Max fix every now and then.

Who's excited?

Don't you think it is a tad small? I don't like that I have to scroll down so much to read what would easily fit above the fold in my browser.

It's a good thing, but I will never install Windows on my beautiful 20" iMac. I went to Apple to get away from Windows.

There isn't anything I can't do in Mac OS X.

I really do like Vanilla (The forum software from Lussumo). There are a lot of cool things that PunBB could use from Vanilla.

Both PunBB and Vanilla are stream-lined forum system, but they take different approaches. If they were to have a "baby," it would be the best software ever made... Ever.
