their email doesn't appear to other guests

It does if you have Allowed guests to post and reply.  At least it does on my 1.1.5 system installed yesterday. I checked fairly carefully even going to another machine to check it wasn't the cookie that was remembering me as admin.

I quite like that guests have the chance to fill in their email (could be optional). What I don't like is that this email address appears on the website for everyone to see.

Just to give some context I want to use the forum as a help/support tool. You don't want to force users to register NEITHER do you want to broadcast their mail to the spammers - it would be quite nice to capture their email though so Admin and Moderators can get in touch if need be.

keep up the great work

I want the forum to work at:

mydomin.com/forum

In the absense of better intructions, I un packed the tar ball on my windows machine and uploaded the whole punbb-1.1.5 directory to my hosting provider.  I found the install instructions and managed to get everything working. Only the URL is:

mydomain.com/forum/punbb-1.1.5/upload/

Can I just re-upload everything in the 'upload' directory to the 'forum' directory? I can forget the 'scripts' directory?

Or are there better solutions bearing in mind that version 1.2 looks imminant?

Maybe you haven't finished yet, but I like the fact that you have changed the top menu and have inverted the colors on the table. Distinguishes itself from every other board out there.

In fact you have spurred me to try out punBB.  I was worrying about customising the layout. Any tips?
