Hello,

I'm trying to install PunBB 1.2 on Debian woody with Mysql 3.xx and php4.
When i click "Start install" i get 2 errors messages, but the first line i don't understand what it is ?

An error occured on line 58 in file /var/www/monforum/include/dblayer/mysql.php.

PunBB reported: Unable to connect to MySQL server. MySQL reported: Access denied for user: 'usermonforum@localhost' (Using password: YES)

Hello,

I had the same problem, i have my database created and the user in MySQL but i forgot to make the database link between the user and the database(don't know the right word).  I use webmin-mysql to do it, in a simple way.

Hello,

I got the same error (Error: Unable to delete from online list.) after the installation.  I fix the problem by adding somes permissions to the MySQL user.

Bonjour,

Je suis tout nouveau et mon PunBB n'est pas encore fonctionnel mais bon...
Je me suis posé la même question que toi et j'ai trouvé un post qui en parle mais c'est en anglais.  De plus il y a une auto-détection des langues.
