That wasn't really the issue....login with your 'test' account and try to post...you'll be asked a question to which it never allows you to continue. "earth" is the answer or "hello" or "hi" to the other question.

I do not know if this is related to openid or not, but I registered, came back and had to use a different email address on punBB (mine was already taken) -- and then I tried posting and the Pun Stop Bot question won't work.

It keeps asking me: "What is the planet we live on?" -- when I type "Earth" it just asks the same questions again.

Example forum: http://www.optimseo.com/

Interesting. I'm going to give it a shot on one of my forums. I'll let you know if I run into any problems.

Thanks, I guess it throws you back on the registration page to complete after "logging in" with openid. I thought openid was supposed to bypass all that.

Anywho, it seems to work after entering a username + captcha...any word on whether this will make it into the punbb extension repository?

I gave it a shot, looks good. I was hoping to have an option to leave a blank message where the old post was like: "This post was moved to .....".

cool smile

This forum is what I use...don't think it's the official releases supported by punbb, but it's a start.

was there an interface to add questions?

update: I just tried adding a question and got this error:

An error was encountered

Note: For detailed error information (necessary for troubleshooting), enable "DEBUG mode". To enable "DEBUG mode", open up the file config.php in a text editor, add a line that looks like "define('FORUM_DEBUG', 1);" (without the quotation marks), and re-upload the file. Once you've solved the problem, it is recommended that "DEBUG mode" be turned off again (just remove the line from the file and re-upload it).

update (with fix): I added an apostrophe...to my answer...it probably just needs the mysql_add_slashes() wrapped around the value. Answer I used: "it's all politics" -- removing the apostrophe worked fine.

Did anyone find an extension for analytics?

Is there an official RSS feed for announcement of extenions (new and upgrades)?

I tried logging in with openid at http://punbb-b.keydogbb.info/

I'm attaching the error...don't know if this has been fixed in the latest release or not -- it's a killer feature to have (if and when it works correctly).

I'm getting this same error more frequently. Usually when I vote karma or sometimes replying to a post.
If I hit the back button and refresh, it usually works (but sucks when you get it after typing a reply to a post).

Has anyone gotten this to work with punbb 1.3?

Anyone know how to make it work with punbb 1.3?

That looks like an old format (plugins) vs. extension. It would be great if someone were able to make it a usable extension with punbb 1.3

Under the last post heading in the index, the title of the thread doesn't appear  but only the last poster and the time of the post. Is it possible to get the title of the thread as well? Perhaps as a tooltip so when a user hovers over the date of the most recent post the title of that forum/topic is displayed?

<a href="/post4.html" title="$post_title">Yesterday</a> by chovy

...something like that. I don't know if it's possible to hook it in with an extension, it should be rather easy as I'm guessing the post object is available given the date of the post is displayed.

I'd do it myself if I could get svn access and contribute back somehow.

THe pun poll is cool, but not at the expense of doubling the size of the form.
Would someone make it hidden with a link that says "add poll to post" to show the poll form?

there is no plugins folder for feed_aggregator from punres.org site.
Has anyone found an extension for punBB 1.3 to import RSS feeds as posts?
I think it would need the ability to choose which forum and whether or not to post as individual threads or one long thread.

THe gravatar doesn't show on posts for my account...it *does* show up on my user profile page. The default "G" avatar does show up for other users who are not using gravatar.

http://www.itsallpolitics.com/user3.html (show correctly)
http://www.itsallpolitics.com/topic1-test-post.html ( does not show the gravatar for 'chovy' )
