You want run 5 different Forums in 5 different directories, and all forums use the data of one DB?
Ist that right?

Then install one Forum with DB, load up your Forums to the dirs with the same config.php. Dont install them.
Now log  with yur account in and change the Base URL in ADMIN-->Options-->E-Mail.

Thats it.

But you can only log in in one, you can't logged in in all forums at the same time.

But why 5 Forums and one DB, in all forums is than the same stuff???

And the Performance, i dont know, I think thats the wrong way. I think its better to use for each forum a own DB.

It is 1.1.5, ideal for beginners like me to learn HTML/CSS & Co.
PunBB is for private use the best I think. Some Mods and it goes up. *I like it*

The new 1.2.2 Version is not so easy to modify, so I must learn first and than use the 1.2.2.

I want to speak out to all Supporters/Developers of PunBB pronounce a accolade for their god and hard Work. *I hope my English it's right*

Hi jb_gfx,

it's very clear and i've understand that. I've read in the german selfhtml something about inlining and outlining view with other Browser (IE/FF).
I'm a blody beginner and I make much mistakes, but only so i can learn! wink
At the beginning  I think it's easyer but... it was a dream! *LOL*

Hi 2drag,

I think you have only modifyed the width of the tables in the CSS.
I Think, if you want to use a fix width to make a new table with a fixed width around the Boarddetails on the main.tpl. *I think*

I'm also an blody beginner and I dont know 100% is that right what I've sayed, maybe there is a better solution i dont know????

If it's so, it is so.

I've load the German Version from the German Support Site and I've no MOD installed.
Maybe the German Support has fitted that that MOD, for the beginning Users???

But I'll understand and change it self by my English Version.

Hi,

I often follow the Links in threads, at the 1.2.2 the links dont open in a new Window.
At the older Version there's a point at the ACP or PROFILE "Links open by new window".

So I must take the BACK-BUTTON of my Browser. Is it possible to make that????

I've tryed the German Boardversion, there all postet Links open in a new Window.
Is there a difference between GER- and UK-Version? sad

I hope you understand it right, sorry for this English. wink

Hello,

I'm shure I'm a beginner, I've load me an older version of PunBB, because it's easyer to learn CSS an deasyer to modify. *I THINK*
Well now I've made my logo and set padding on 0px and margin on 0px in the CSS-dat and also the cell (td) in the main.tpl.
Why is there allways ... look

If i want take a GIF as Post-Status-Indicator, what I've to do?

I've tryed that in -->style/imports/oxygen.css Section 5.:

Runs the Mod also on the German Boardversion?

If the Mod is not for the 1.2.2 German, I must try to modify the Original English Version.
Its no prob.
I'll try and transmitt the effect!

I think so,

I've loadet up all modifying sites to their destination folder.
Now I've load up all blank (original) sites, the Board runs now, and I'll try again to modify. neutral

Can I get support for that Problem on the german punbb-Site?
I think it's easyer to tell my Prob in german language, english language is not really my world. wink

I've load and install the punbb 1.2.2. I've seen the PM Mod 1.2.0 an I'll beginn to install. I'll read the installinstructions and follow them exactly.

if i want to access now the board ther's a warning.

I'll change the ... it to 95%, the tabel is smaller but the horizontal scrollbar is still standing.

Hi,

I copied the css-file of the layout 'Oxygen', and changed all colors to create my own outfit.
The Forum works, but now I've allways the scrollbars in front of the I-Frame.
The tabels are configured to 100% and my I-Framewith is 620 Pix, is that to less?
If I change the 100% to 600, it looks verry broken.
