Hi.

I have an existing users table (with about 5 fields). Users register as a member for my website, and then can log in to user several features. It uses sessions to keep them logged in and is adapted from a script called SimpleAuth (http://simpleauth.munk.nu/)

I want to use punbb and have this registration integrated with forum reg (ie once they register to use the website features, they are automatically registered for the forum). Once they log in anywhere on the site, they stay logged in and can use the forums.

I have a little php/sql knowledge but not enough to do this well (or the time). I want to pay someone who can do this quickly & well ! (previous experience / evidence of what you've done would be good).

just installed newest version and is now working. god knows what was going on there.

Another question, however. Can i disable users being able to choose their own style?

I've done this three or four times. Everything has been uploaded correctly, I've re-installed twice, and chmoded everything correctly.

Hi Tom.

So how did you fix the prob? I just renamed "English" to "english" and this has had no effect? Then renamed back to 'English' and still not working.

I've also chmoded every file to 777.

This error is coming up once I've installed punbb as per instructions. Any pointers as to what is wrong ? This error is coming up

There is no valid language pack 'English' installed. Please reinstall a language of that name.

I have installed, and chmoded the cache & lang dirs to 777. Host is fully php/mysql enabled etc. Can't work out what the hell is wrong !
