Rod wrote:mmmmmmmmm how to explain ... do you want this code compatible with Mozaic or Lynx too ?!
mmmmmmmm I see my stats ... Ohhhhhhhhhhh incredible !
IE = 82%
Mozilla / Firefox / Gecko Browser = 14%
ALL OTHER BROWSERS = 4%
Safari = 0,5%
In this case, the SCALING image in 1.2.1 is a problem for you too no ?
SAFARI = minority of the web.
Firefox is on all plateforms ...
Even if it is a minority, you still should make everything work with it.
Alright, when I come back from vacation I'll release it with the mod or something. Or release it as an add-on for the mod. Whichever I decide upon. Check back in this thread for more info.
You may want to let people to know to also edit "help.php" with the new BBcode and smilies.

The bug doesn't make sense, nor does it exist. Because it is in the code tag, it is not parsed like regular items. In fact, nothing within the code tag is parsed, it's just printed.
I'll wait for the changed-files only archive. I don't want to overwrite the mods I have installed.
Always post your mod here after uploading it to PunRES. Not all of us check PunRES on a daily basis for new mods.

That mod (well my mod) does not yet cover new post icons and whatnot. It covers about 90-95% of a forum skin though.

If the forum comes with the portal, and the portal is being offered at a charge then it would be in violation of the GNU.
Ah. Yeah that would be pretty difficult to create. It could be done, just would be difficult.
What would the purpose of it be though? Like in what situation would it be used?
Ah yeah I see. Awesome. Glad it's fixed.
Thanks for using my mod.
EDIT: You can delete my user account on that forum.
What type of new field though? Or would the new field be created via the admin panel?
Alright. I'll keep refreshing your forum page until then until I see Administration at the top, lol.
Can you make me an admin on your forum so I can see the Easy Smilies page for myself? You can remove my admin powers when the issue is resolved.
And what are the names of all the smiley images you have on the server?
I don't quite understand this one, lol. Could you explain the feature/mod request a bit better so one of us can, possibly, make it?
Like when you enter in ":*(" (minus the star), you should enter in like "frownsmiley.png" as the image. That way when you type in a post, it shows frownsmiley.png in place of it.
I have a pack of about 210 smilies that I could give out if anybody wants it. All you would have to do (until I make an import feature to the mod) would be to upload the .sql file to your database, and then upload the smilies into your smiley folder.
If somebody could give me a list of the things that are missing in the mod I'll fix it up. So far I am aware of "code" missing and the new post icons. Is there anything else?
It looks fine to me (code-wise). The problem is that you are attributing the wrong image filenames to the wrong smiley code.
Wonder how hard it'd be to port it over.
Take the example config.php file that comes with PunBB and just edit the variables so it matches the text install.php gave you. Then upload config.php into the root directory of Punbb.
1. Get a screenshot so I can see this myself.
2. Are you using the same image filename for each smiley?

I wouldn't call it expensive. I pay the equivalent of $15 per year for punbb.org.
Registerfly is $10 a year for domains (specialty domains cost more however).
No it wasn't with in a function. I was able to fix it though. I ended up moving it back to the original plugin page. I think some of the includes/requires were not being initiated with the script, causing the error.
