I didn't see it anywhere, but my just launched forum does it. I used the tutorial from:

The only thing I noticed, is that other than the .tpl files, you have to mod the header.php to remove the div's in the pun_navlinks. For an example of how I did it, see:

Ok, I just started using punbb, but here it goes:

Still looking through the mods deciding what to install. So far I have the subforum mod, and the pm mod. I have been launching forums using phpbb and vbulletin for a while now, so I have some experience in general with forums. BTW, thanks for the PostgreSQL support. That was the main draw that phpbb had over most other forum systems.
