Oh nope.. looks like the messages are all gone.
Darn it. I've made a back up about 2 weeks ago of the SQL.
I guess I'll just have to import that again?

Ahh... is there a law against egging hackers?

Wow, what version were you running? I really want to start using PunBB, but the idea of being hacked is pretty frightening.

I was quiet lazy - had an old version 1.2.1 I think..?

I've upgraded to 1.2.7 now.
All I need now is to get my messages displaying on the forum.

I hope you fix it m8! cheers !

THanks.. well I went ahead and installed the latest version because nothin else was working.

That sort of fixed it, however...

The forum doesn't show any posts or forums - although they are still there in the database.
The users all show up, but no posts.

Do I just create forums with the same names as before - I guess then the post inside those forums will show up?
Thanks again,

Jeff

THanks for the reply.
My o_maintenance table is already set at 0 though...?

Can anyone guide me as to how I can get my forums back online?

All my data seems to be there in the MySQL Database still.
All the files are still on the server.

But whenever I try to access, I get a Hacked by message.

After checking my FTP, it seems as though this file is corrupted with the hacker message.

/public_html/forums/upload/cache
File:    cache_config.php

I don't seem to be able to change the content of thei file (permission denied).
And even if I delete the whole cache folder and re-install, it appears again.

I see lots of posts on how to prevent a hacker and security.
Is there no way I can get my boards back online without re-installing the BB again?

Thanks for your help.

Jeff
