A typical posting page (like viewtopic.php?id=1447) has two important columns.
COL 1. The one with Date, User, Rank, Ip....
COL 2. The one wth the path and posting...

Now, I have been trying to reduce the width of a punbb site (using the minima style), so as to make it neatly fit into the Wrapper in Joomla -- that is iframe.

My problem is that I was able to control the width of COL2.
Can comeone please tell me how to reduce the width of COL1?

i am hosting a site with siteground.com.
they installed punbb for us successfully.
but i have problem in making it use a backup file punbb_db_backup.2006-01-13.sql.
siteground did everything for me, but there is a problem:

"it seems that some data types (online table, HEAP data type) is not supported by the mysql storage engine and cannot be read."

thanks, tobi.
all files are in the server now.
i tried to run install.php. and the page says:

Enter then name of your database
The name of the database that PunBB will be installed into.
      The database must exist....

I am using mysql.
