To my knowledge the contents of punbb-1.3.4 has been uploaded directly into the petrescue folder that holds the contents of the website itself. Is this what you mean?

I am attempting to install punbb and have come up with the following error message:

Unable to connect to MySQL and select database. MySQL reported: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)

The error occurred on line 44 in /home/content/y/o/u/yourtechhelp/html/PetRescue/punbb-1.3.4/include/dblayer/mysqli.php

I don't know what this means, and of course that means I have no idea where to start in order to resolve the issue.  Any help is appreciated.
