puntal does not provide such a file nor support Chinese . may be you've copied chinese lang pack from punBB but its not like that you could add a support to the language on puntal.
this is why you meet this "Notice"

i installed it a dozen of time without any issue
in the admin panel, puntal shows you what you entered at the installation step... no more or less.
may be you gave up too quickly ;

Hi,
i've subscribed many of thread on my forum ; and ; for a reason i dont understand ; i dont receive any email notification.

so i've thought to remove all the subscribe i made with a SQL query and subscribe again, but manually.

so the question is which SQL query could i execute to remove all subscription ?

/forum/ = punbb

but you can do
/foo/puntal
/foo/forum

but cant install puntal in the same directory of punBB.

Hi,

Reminder : Puntal is a LCMS (Light Content Managment System) for punBB.

This release is a maintenance version which concern :

- [bug] missing translation in english languages files of recent_topic online_today blocs and planet and lexique modules
- [bug] missing update_forum function added to functions.php
- [enhancement] updating bloc Feeds RSS XML to be able to limit the number of news displayed
- [enhancement] remove the post and the topic associated when an event is removed from the calendar.
- [security] bloc online_today add pun_htmlspecialchars arround username.
- [enhancement] adding fct:: in front of each message function call

Puntal is a little portal for punBB

Puntal actually propose :

    * no modification of the files of PunBB are necessary to install Puntal ;
    * six modules (news, download, calendar, additional pages, planet and lexique) ;
    * module of news : in static to spare the database or in dynamic  to display the news in in real time;
    * a douzen of blocs in standard to  activate/deactivate to fit your need;
    * plugins system to add blocs and modules easyly. this system can export thoses plugins.
    * an admin panel like punBB ;
    * use CSS of punBB to keep a perfect integration betweenn portal and forum;
    * multilanguage ;
    * automtic install;
    * and more ...

The Team O.o is a Counter-Strike Team which uses punBB as forum and DotClear as homepage (with the great plugin for dotclear to display many information of punBB on DotClear hompage)

Puntal is currently merging on the next version of punBB 1.3 without the extension system, like a classic mod, but based of the XHTML/CSS of the 1.3 version.
ASA the extension system will be ready to use we will do it wink
