I want to post a post and that the user either I choose or they enter a password could access it and reply to it... so a real private discussion for only 1 subject/post

Hi all,

I am already playing with user permission to create "private" forum... but it is not so usable for very precise post you want to put it private... It makes no sense to me to create a private forum only for 1 post...
Doesn't it exist a way to do a private post? through plugin or whatever...

Hello,

When we change/update a post it doesn't trig the "new message in the forum"... Is it possible to change this and an update of post will popup the new icon beside the forum and display the updated post when you see new messages....??

I have 1 forum for guest and new member plus other forum for dedicated user (throug group usage)...
How can i manage the RSS?
I would like to put 1 RSS for each forum but how is it handle wrt group membership??

It permits to create user and even if I can not directly assign to a group, I can do it before the user see the email...

Hello,

I prefer to describe what I want to do as may-be different solution could be done...
I have created several user group and when someone register I want to be able to assign the user to a group directly without time between its registration and the group assignment in order to avoid the user to be navigating the forum with not the right group...
Up to now, the user register with email verification... I don't want to do it with hundreds of user...

Is there a way to do that? Am I clear?
- Is this possible to moderate the registration in order to when you accept someone you assign it to a group in the same time?
- Can admin register directly user? e.g. : I register Tom which belong to the B group with the following email (he will receive his password to email and when connected will be directly assigned to the right group)

Oh.... just installed to do a forum for small communauty... The idea is quite simple : Ihave several hidden forum for independant sports project. My idea was to create a user group for each forum and to be able to put user in the different group... But my idea was clearly that some user could belong to more than 1 group... but not all group...
So there is no possibility to do that? workaround??
