I'm having same problem. Directories img and avatars are both 777 permission and "Allow users to upload avatars for display in posts." is checked. "
When I go through process of uploading user avatar, nothing gets uploaded and no error message is returned. The rest of the forum operations are working as advertised.
Any other suggestions?
