Hey,
So I recently translated the English language pack to Swedish. All of it. Took about 4 hours. Anyways. What I want to do now is to upload it to my forums.
So I went to my FTP and selected the 'lang' folder. I went to it and created a new folder called 'Swedish'. In the new folder I put all my translated files. However, when I activate the Swedish language over at my forum it still is English.
Is there anything else I gotta do to make it work? Please help me out here, would really appreciate it!

I decided to edit my question.
Lets say I install the forum in my root-folder making it the start page of my site. Is it possible to let the start-page include news with maybe articles written in other pages, such as a news page? Let me demonstrate with a few images:
