Has anyone looked into solving this issue?

This is a MAJOR problem with the new mobile version and I can speak with confidence for everyone that uses PunBB that in the long run we will lose forum members without this being corrected.

This goes directly against one of the main reasons for choosing this software - ease of viewing for the user.

I installed PunBB and integrate it into WordPress (style) to make it looks like part of the WordPress.

Hopefully it is helpful to some of you. smile

Can you provide a link please?

You will have to adjust with css. Seems you need a few css rules to accomplish what you need. So there is no universal simple answer. I would recommend you hire a guy on freelancer.com or something to fix it for you if you are not familiar with code smile

So far I have run into no issues other than some simple CSS.

Do items like this get located through the PHP, CSS or XML?

How would someone go about moving the clickable portion of this extension to the foot of the post?

Basically what I need is to move it from the sidebar on the left to under the post section.

Any help would be appreciated.

I noticed while searching for an answer that Kushi had this within his mobile extension. Would anyone know how to implement that in 1.4.3?

You have to remember that the newest release was just pushed out (compared to 1.4.2's release date). I'm sure in good time this will be fixed, however for now all I can say is to be patient.

Tough to be patient when you have a very active forum.

Thanks keeshii!

I was actually able to correct the one issue but now I am looking to change something else.

When you are in mobile mode you cannot see the users avatar and because the name area is still located to the left of the post it cramps the text area.

What I would like to do is have the users avatar still show (smaller than when in desktop mode) at the top of the post instead. This would make for a clearer viewing experience for users.

I have corrected this issue.

I am surprised with no response to this.

This is a very large issue with the mobile version that needs corrected.

Users with mobile devices will not be interested in repeat viewing of forums without having this corrected.

I have researched this and found how to do it.

Anyone interested in learning how can either post here or PM me.

Is there a way to make it so that there is an alternate main.tpl that can be used for the index page?

Kushi made a nice layout with a background for each individual forum.

Having this ability in a plugin for editing forums would make for a very unique and clean look, something that PunBB would have that not many forums if any would.

Another nice addition would be to have a logo or banner possibility for the categories. You would be able to make a clean and easy navigation for users with more visual cues like this.

Would anyone be interested in helping with this?

I do not understand...

php connects via Urban_ oxygen.php

main.tpl only supports HTML

I'm sorry, I have bad with English. Please speak short simple phrases.

Thank you.

I am not using Urban_oxygen.

I did resolve that question.
