thanks! was indeed 'fancy_stop_spam'

hi, I'm trying to login as admin, and get the following error:

"Sorry, but we think you are bot. You cant login on this forum."

how can I fix this?

Thanks,

Hi, does anyone have an updated guide on how to merge punbb with a wordpress theme (latest versions).

I've tried various header/footer links, etc but can't get it to work.

A clear step by step would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

i've tried, but it just seems so complicated. I was wondering if there was a guide to the changes in the css files. ie, .pun is now .brd OR #punwrap is now #brd-wrap, so that I could just do some find and replaces to get it working again? hmm

in punbb 1.2, I had a nice css style setup, matching the rest of my site. Now with 1.3, it doesn't work anymore. And I'm completely overwhelmed in trying to convert it.

Is there an easy way to update the style file? maybe someone can help? smile

here is it:

yeah, sorry I didn't mean the 'overall intergration experience'... but more that there seems to be a way to link mediawiki and punbb, some folks have already done it (there's code etc floating around on this forum), but we just need someone to write a dummies guide (i think?!)

but not much seems to happen on it. I already saw some posts that people have managed this already - I think we just need some "how to" docs written??

please please please post a simple how to for linking mediawiki and punbb users!

a million thanks!

yeah, I've checked the guest settings - as I guest, I can't make a post. It's been worse than it ever was with phpbb sad I've now installed a image verification mod.. and for the moment, it seems to have helped - lets see...

ok, thanks I'll take a look at those..

Hi,

every day, I wake up to 2 or 3 spam posts - it's a real pain to deal with and doesn't look good for our users.

Guest Visitors cannot post, only read.

However, these Spam posts are made by 'people/bots' that have registered an account.

I've set of the forum to required an email confirmation - so I'm impressed that a bot can do all of that.

Whatelse can I do to tackle this? Which plugin is best?

Thanks!

thanks, that worked!!!

THANKs, where should i put the .htaccess file?

thanks, but as a noob user, what should i do to fix this?

Please help, im trying to convert from phpbb and get this message>

Fatal error: session_start(): Failed to initialize storage module: user (path: /tmp) in /home/myname/public_html/wp/addons/forum/converters/index.php on line 2

the site should be live in the next hour, how can i fix this?! thanks.
