is there a way to show latest blogs on the homepage, im using a portal without having to call extern.php

i can explain why to both previous posts as i had this problem
there is no bbcode set up for those changes on the wysiwyg editor so you need to manually add the bbcode into parser.php and it will then parse correctly for you

am having a problem, i have used connerhds miniportal mod and added a 3rd column to the template. the whole site appears to be fine and all the columns sit in the right place, however whenever you look at a topic for example here http://www.ratemydrive.com/viewtopic.php?pid=110#p110, then the topic is floating at the bottom of the other 2 columns instead of aligning at the top like on every other page
any ideas would be much appreciated. thanks

Hi,
When trying to modify the forum permissions in the admin control panel, so that certin user groups can post topics and others cant within specific forums i get the following error:
An error was encountered
Error: Unable to insert group forum permissions.
Currently, it is set up so that all user groups can read, no user groups can post replies and only mods can post topics. I can change the who can post topics with no error but I cannot change the post replies, that is when I get the error. This has just started and I don't know why, since it working and not working I have not modified any code, just been adding new forums.
As a secondary problem following on from this, bearing in mind the permissions above, all users can post replies and post topics when only mods should be able to post topics,,,, very confusing

Hi,
Would it be possible to have a topic rating system?
This is where a topic is posted and underneath the first post only a rating system or either like karma or a star rating system could be used to rate that topic as a whole. I don't know if anybody could help with this as I have no idea where to start...

hi, had a quick look and it looks cool, i have a couple of questions: how does your rating system work and will you make it a mod, as it is something i would be interested in and something other people would as well...
if so is it possible to change it so that only certain topics ie within a specific category can be rated and/or a certain user group can be rated but everyone can rate them...anmy help would be much appreciated

hi,
i am busy integrating my site in punbb and its going along fine, made easier because the site is being developed at the same time, anyway i digress...i am currently having a bit of a problem and i cant for the life of me find what im looking for. all posts and general text within my pages show as purple, i want to change it to black, but i cant find which css tag to change to affect that. i have changed pretty much everyone i can find in all the different stylesheets and no new ones have been added just the existing ones modded and still cannot find it.
any help would be appreciated.
