No, not entirely. Simply, whenever a user trys to enter some html enitie code, suc as "£", that would show up instead of the Euorpe Pound sign. No other type of html is added. Just added it so my users could enter some language-specfic charachters. (Such as the upside-down "?" and "!" for Spanish-speaking people)
