tomas doing something like this would be super easy. if you cant find what you need let me know and I can write something up and post it here. Its just a matter of changing your font color to match your background with bbcode. Or at least that is how I would do it.

yeah the spit and polish comes last. I find doing function then pretty saves me headaches in the long run I have no problem sharing it, big problem is finding the time to pack it up lol

Just thought I would share a script I wrote in about 2 hours that adds a myspace'ish feeling to the punbb forums. This is not done and is deliberately somewhat hidden away from users. Here is a working sample page http://www.ultimate-fighter.ca/my-MMA-corner.php?id=2
Basically it has friends, latest threads they started, and 4 feature blocks that can be customized. In my case they are profile, favorite fighters, best fight, favorite MMA style. I am using jscript to make the updating interface easy and clean and will be incorporating ajax when its completed.
I also linked to all the top members from the mainpage www.ultimate-fighter.ca As you can imagine the social community components really are limitless. Of course its 100% integrated into punbb the greatest forum ever made. Its not done, got another couple hours of code but it was done with punBB and thought you might dig seeing it

my site is fully integrated into punbb. Its a blog with a wiki aspect to it for trusted user www.ultimate-fighter.ca it was a 2 hour project so it by no means WOW

i am more then happy to donate time and code I really dont put alot of time into my code.. or at least I try not to. lol. Another super simple mod I did was keyword links. If you look on this thread you will see I made it so anytime a fighters name is mentioned in discussion that it auto-links to their profile on site. http://www.ultimate-fighter.ca/Forum/vi … php?id=235
That one I can probably release at some point since its literally just a few lines of code.

Thanks Kane. I am building a blog system into it so that people who register can also run and maintain a blog as well as post on the forums. I really am a big fan of punbb. It is so easy to mod to meet my needs.

probably not since its tied into my CMS which has never been released. I dont want to support it Works great for me. I will possibly do some other mods for my forum though and release those for people to try out.

its a custom job and ive never packaged it up. The cms admin is directly tied into punbb which was also really easy to do since punbb is so kick ass. A programmers dream punbb is. Glad you guys dig it!

you could also make your own. My template design took about 10minutes. punbb is the easiest board to mod around.

was super easy to do. I really cant say enough good stuff about punbb. And yeah Dr. Jeckyl its my own custom cms built it super fast. whole site took me about 2hours.

I integrated punbb into my cms system. www.ultimate-fighter.ca Punbb was a pleasure to integrate and also super simple. 30minutes and you can really do alot. Punbb deserves alot of praise.
