Yeah, this really is the biggest annoyance for me in PunBB, other than that it is wonderful. At the moment having so many possibilities for access is difficult, but if it gets any worse I guess I'll have to consider moving away from Pun

I agree that this would be a very useful feature. Might be a bit annoying to code, but well worth it.

I think it would be really handy if you could allow users to be members of multiple permissions groups, as opposed to just one. It would certainly allow me to flexibly give individual users access to various private forums on my board. Currently I need to have a user group for every combination of permissions to view individual forums, which is difficult to administrate and messy.
Would this be possible?
