I installed Punbb and everything works fine, except for the e-mail functions. Users get no confirmation e-mail and no mail can be sent from the board, although it sais the mail is sent.
I read other topics where it was suggested that sendmail might be turned off. So I tested it with a small script using php's mail() function. This worked fine. So why isn't my board sending any e-mails? I've entered nothing in the mail fields so it should use sendmail, shouldn't it?
Is there anything I can manually set in a config file? Or is there another solution to this strange problem?
