Ah, that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Yes, I'm planning on working on this as an official extension
Will that be using db queries or HTTP(S) requests? I hope it will be the latter, as that is what I currently use. Also, do you have any ideas on 'when' or will official extensions only be released when 1.3 goes final?

Re: Login problems :( (10 replies, posted in PunBB 1.2 troubleshooting)
Sorry to kick this topic, but I face a similar problem as described by fmimoso.
I have a website where http://forum.mysite.com is identical to http://www.mysite.com/forum which I could resolve using the $cookie_domain = .mysite.com setting. The problem however is: I have two forums on the domain with different logins. In this situation the aforementioned setting doesn't work anymore. I have 'solved' it by setting the $cookie_domain to forum1.mysite.com and forum2.mysite.com, but this means you can only login when you're using the exact URL. Any ideas?
Forum 1: http://forum1.mysite.info is same as: http://www.mysite.info/forum1
Forum 2: http://forum2.mysite.info is same as: http://www.mysite.info/forum2
Edit: Renamed real links to virtual ones

And lots and lots of vBulletin, SMF, phpBB etc forums too. A pretty virulent bot.
ProgonkaOne looks like a ban word to put in the 'censoring' list...
From your Apache logs, can you tell where the bot came from when they first signed up, BTW?
Sorry, no, I don't have access to my hoster' Apache logs.
just as an fyi IOTA's mod has killed 99.99% of the spam on hte forums i have put it on. I was getting hundreds of spam bots posting a day.
I just implemented the mod from IOTA as well, hope that stops 'em...

Unfortunately I have to report that a spambot has managed to register itself on one of my forums despite the use of the modification from moaiamorfo. The spambot registered itself with username 'ProgonkaOne' and a Google search resulted many registrations with the same postings on many PunBB forums.

Re: Mail List Bridge 1.0.0 (15 replies, posted in PunBB 1.2 modifications, plugins and integrations)
Just to let you know:
I installed this mod on punBB 1.2.14 and when trying to fetch mail from a POP account manually the forum only returns empty pages. I managed to get the forum interface working again by crearing the 'bridges' table.
Oh, and when I use IMAP then manually launching a process cyle also results in punBB not willing to do any parsing as it seems.
