How do I set up punbb to hide the password field during user registration and get punbb email the password to him to the email address he submitted?

An other thought came to my mind:

By the way... hmm

Isn't it by changing main.tpl will affect the whole of my current punbb forum.
I guess I need to create an other instance of punbb and use it just as a guestbook, that way I can modify the main.tpl and not affecting the original forum.

That's great;

Will I be able to remove the menu bar in the top, and the information that are only related to a forum, and leave the bare minimum fields showing, to make it look like a guest book.

Is there a way - during message writing - we can display the smilies icons next to the form so the user can just click on it and it gets added to the message.

Also during the message writing, is there a way to get the user to select his text then by clicking a button the php insert a bold tag to get the selected text in bold when posting.

I will be installing punbb this week.

It's my first time that I install a forum, my worry is just how difficult it is to administer the forum and users.

Also I would like to know how do I stop users from accessing a specific forum only if the user have a certain privilages.
