Yesterday i made up some changes in my css files and while working on it i found out that working on 3 different css files (the basic css file and the import) isnt very handy and i couldn't find a reason why it should be that way.

Can somebody tell me why it's nessacery that styling should be done with 3 css files (custom.css, custom_cs.css and base.css).

Ok a little kick....

I made some new adjustments to the template.

- The image links that i have on the frontpage are now also visible when a user is on the forum
- Header rotation, same as i have on the frontpage

Now let's see what i'm going to *F-word* up now wink Only nasty thing is that with all the graphic stuff it isn't light weight anymore as it was when i installed it tongue

If someone is intrested in the rotating header script let me know and i'll upload it to my server.

I have an simple question....... i think.

Is it possible to automaticly move closed topics to the bottom of the page when viewing the topic list? I searched here and on Punres but i cant find anything that could do the trick.

I have an small problem, on my site http://www.aboutdj.nl i want to display the 5 most recent topics. Everything works fine BUT i have an anoying dot before every line....

How do i remove the list style before it? I just want it to be exactly like it's on the frontpage on punBB

Oke i'm gonna look for that one.... maybe i forgot something to modify when i installed the mod.

Nope, dont see what that's got to do with PM delete checkboxes....

I modified the footer but did not delete it.

I'f got an anoying problem with the private messaging mod, i can't see the checkboxes for multiple message delete. Now i have to delete all the messages one by one and users on my forum are complaining about it....... and now i finaly have some time to fix it BUT...... i can't.

I deleted all the old files and installed the mod again but that did not work so i placed back the old files. Is there anyone who has an solution for this problem?

Here an screenshot of the PM list,

all of them actually. wink but thanks, it's a start.

I can post my modified files, but there are more than only the image modifications. I also did some mod installing so my files aren't the same as yours if you didn't install the same mods.

I used the famfamfam icons..... damn now everybody knows my secret wink

If Rickard isn't happy with my solution i will change it back to the original way, i'll promise wink

I think this is an nice solution for people who don't like the text because of design issues but don't want to remove the copyrights.

if you wouldn't mind writing up a wiki entry for punres.org about your image/text replacement, i know i would be much appreciated. wink

nice work by the way.

It's very simple, make an extra line in your language file, let's say e-mail-img. It would look like this,

'E-mail-img'            =>    '<img src="../forum/img/aboutdj/email.gif" alt="Email" title="Email"/>',

Then look into the source and find the spot where the image would be seen, replace the normal $lang_common['E-mail'] with $lang_common['E-mail-img']

Simple isn't it wink

Pogenwurst -> You're to fast.... i where editing my post tongue

By the way, the copy right is still on the site, i just corrected it ->

<a href="http://punbb.org" target="_blank"><img src="img/aboutdj/punbb.png" alt="PunBB" title="Powered by PunBB - © Copyright 2002–2005 Rickard Andersson
" border="0" height="15" width="80"/></a>

Now it has an title so when you go over it with your mouse it display's the copyright smile

Biggest modification where the images instead of the text while viewing a topic,
http://www.aboutdj.nl/diversen/punbb_1.jpg http://www.aboutdj.nl/diversen/punbb_2.jpg

But when viewing the users profile i'm using text,
http://www.aboutdj.nl/diversen/punbb_3.jpg

I finally found PunBB :-D

First i was using myReact, forum software which was to complex and to big, then i found PunBB and it was love at first sight. Clean, easy and open source so i can mod a lot in the source. I realy like PunBB because of it's simplicity, no nonsense but just how forum software supposed to be.

Ok,
Link to my website, http://www.aboutdj.nl
Link to my board, http://www.aboutdj.nl/forum/index.php

Oh and i removed the copyright BUT i made an web badge instead of it, http://www.aboutdj.nl/forum/img/aboutdj/punbb.png
In my opinion that looks better than a line of text under the other badges wink. If anyone also want's to use the badge..... your free to go.

Pardon my french, i'm dutch wink
