Why isn't there a default solution in PunBB? Why does each individual user have to solve it on his own? A lot of time and energy goes to waste. Please consider a good default solution in future releases. It will make one of the best BB's even better.

nope just a different way of producing a style link...

Hi Q,
If that wasn't it, then which one were you referring to? Or would you mind telling me which changes you did in misc.php?
TIA!
Reg

Go to your Admin -> Options -> and then look for Default Style. Does this help?

I must be blind, too, because when I change the style and save it, the style does not change. But I haven't really looked into it, I guess it's because I was logged in as admin!? :-)

Hi Quaker! The examples you have shown (http://101mag.net/misc.php?style=nature and http://101mag.net/misc.php?style=Samui) are EXACTLY what I was looking for, thanks! :-)

Is this the add-on you mean?

admin - options - default style is where you can change the style (design); my question is: is it possible to link to my website to different styles?

example:

- site A links to my forum site as www.forumsite.org/?style=a
- site B links to my forum site as www.forumsite.org/?style=b

if someone clicks from site A to my forum it will seem as if he is on the same website be he or she is not.
if someone clicks from site B to my forum it will also seem as if he is on the same website be he is not.

;-)

Thank you pogenwurst, that is exactly what I was looking for. FWIW: the reason for asking is with such a mod PunBB can actually operate as a support ticket website, which is what I wanted to accomplish...

;-)

Yup, mods/admins can also view (otherwise they would not be able to reply, right?).

;-)

Is it possible to make a post (or a thread for that matter) only visible to the original poster? I mean: I'm posting this message now and it would only be visible for me, not for other guests or even registered members. This if course automagically implies replies can only be given by administrators or moderators.

Just a question... (:-)
