I disagree, I have a user named ~¿, lol. Why not? We have different alphabets out there, ¡¿çüèâñ?!.

My server has gone to hell. It crashes every few minutes, mailboxes are dead and their contents lost and server time has been fluctuating all day long. Now most of my users cannot post, because even after setting the value to zero, it still complains. Maybe it's checking it and the timestamp "in the future" is an issue. Who knows, I cannot even access the ftp server. I'll just report it.

I cannot access the database to correct the timestamps, so I'll have to wait till we pass the "latest" fluctuation (about 17.00 today). Fuck off.

I like it that word filtering is turned off :).

Well, I don't want to bitch, but in that case I see no use for it, at least as a feature. Personally, I have to say I don't like it. Registering at PunBB asks for: username, e-mail and timezone, and that's it. Profiles are very much soft-dependent. Honestly, I don't see it, right now.

Has any major BB software implemented this?

Did you make up your mind about implementing user groups in the end, Rickard? I see there's a question mark next to it.

I'm in need of some sort of user groups system but I won't do it anytime soon, no time. And I don't want to install the mod if it's in 1.2, I'd rather do a removable dirty hack. Just to know :).

Try this.

Ok, ok, I was just feeling creative :).

The :D Rickard points out is pretty good. Maybe using a slightly darker color to separate the teeth would be better or worse, but it's fine. I like'em all, nice work :) (except  which is the same but that one is impossible, really, it is).

I shouldn't rip someone else's work, but what the heck :D. What about a rounder mouth here, more kinda surprised-not-scared?

No, just two lines not three, asymmetric, he'll be a li'l yellow insane maniac psycho killer with the urgent need for a dental plan :D.

Also, much darker (the lines).

But only if they are paralel, the current one looks like a maniac psycho-killer :D.

C with 2 vertical lines, just like the current one at PunBB.

Edit: "Punies", I like it :D.

Yes, is not the appropiate shortcut, but it's the one I use. When I see the teeth I think "ironic" or "that was funny", but maybe it's just me :D.

I cannot agree, most people use :D for happiness. I use :D for the happy smiley and  (...) for the mouth filled with teeth, they are different, are they not?

:D

No luck, it looks cool instead :(.

For  try drawing the eyebrows. Not easy but could be done. I'd move the ) in :) a bit downwards because it's way too "up", and make the D in :D and the O in :O (:O looks scared not surprised!) a bit less "square".

Nice work :).

According to Rickard the main page uses MT, yes. And I've no idea about an integrated solution, someone's hinted at it but I haven't seen anything so far. Maybe someone else can provide more detailed information here.

If by "partial integration" you mean the "last discussions" window, yes, there is a file called extern.php in the distribution which allows you to retrieve data from the forums wherever you want: last posts, number of users online, etc. And it's easy to tweak if you need something slighty different.

Regards.

I've had some trouble with IE lately. Try deleting the files in the cache (history's ok, no need to get rid of it) or force it to reload the page every time (options > configuration). Maybe it has nothing to do with that problem, but I'd give it a try.

No problem, Rickard keeps a changelog file containing all the changes from one version to the next, so that you can enter them manually. It's part of the magic of PunBB :).

Take a look at the changelog file of your current version.

I'd go for something closer to "publicly displayed at your own risk", but not with those words. Or maybe not. But it's definitely a good idea, some people ar not aware of "collectors".

Sorry, you're right, I got a style-less output but that happened after messing with header.php. My apologies for the possible confusion.
