I have PUNBB version 1.3.4

Mine is very low activity forum. Just around 10 users who access seperate forums based on the user group.

I want the punbb to send notifications to them when a post/topic is posted in the forums they are allowed to view.

It seems no extentions here too for that.

Any code changes I can achieve this?

Is there any extention that gives option to users to subscribe to entire forum(s) instead of each topic subscription? So any topic/post they will receive notification.

You don't have to change all 12 lines in install_mod.php. just line 12 I think?

OK. I installed the 'mail posts' mod. But punbb not sending any emails to the email that is in the list when I post a test post.
But it sending when a new user is registered though.

I  tried with smtp too. No use. Any ideas please?

OK. I downloded mail posts mod from:
http://www.punres.org/desc.php?pid=95

When I run the file, I am getting the error:
"You are running a version of PunBB (1.2.14) that this mod does not support. This mod supports PunBB versions: 1.2.5"

But latest Punbb is 1.2.14.

Where is this 1.2.5 ?

Hi,

1. I registered a test user. When I logged as test user I cannot post two messages. It saying I have to wait 60 seconds. Where to change this setting?

2. When new post or thread is posted I am not receiving any notification. But I am receiving notification once a user is registered.  why?
