ok, cool...just thought I would mention it.

I get it in FF and IE

When I move the mouse over the submit or preview post buttons it says "accesskey :s and accesskey tongue. Why is that?

Bingiman.

Can we make the name under the post clickable to the user profile as well?

The directory name has to be: subject_index and not recent_index. wink

It is all done through CSS.

Here is what I would like to see in some version down the road.

1 - To disallow new members from posting URL's in their post until they have posted a certain amount of post. Configurable by the administrator obviously. This in my opinion will reduce spam becuase some people just sign up so that they can post spam.

2 - bbcode buttons that are stock with punBB. It should also be configurable by the administrator and could be user level based, and by that I mean after a member has  posted sufficient post and/or belong to a specific group that is allowed to use them.

3 - Sub Forums in my opinion is a must have. It just makes sense to have them.

4 - A better user profile layout.

5 - Theme switcher somewhere else other than in the profile.

6 - A Private Message system that comes with punBB. I guess that would be an extension.

That's all!

Isn't this old?

You can also find and even better modified version over on http://megapun.com

but you could create one though:

tr.imoved div.icon {
background-image:url(../../img/template/moved.png);
background-repeat:no-repeat;
height:27px;
width:27px;
}

Isn't that correct?

cool...thanks. big_smile

I don't know if this was already reported but the search results don't seem to be parsing the bbcode smiley's

If your host refuses to look into an issue when there is obviously a need to look into it? Yes

I'm assuming you're on a shared host where you can't edit Apache's config files.

I am on a VPS account Smartys. I looked at the httpd.conf file. Could I paste it here for you to look at?

You know this is becoming a big deal for me now. If it is my host says that the Apache server is reading the files, then why is it not working for me as it does for others? Should I be looking at a new host?

Well, my host has said the following to me so I don't know what else to do.

Dear Dale,

Thank you for contacting Westhost. What you were told earlier by Earl is correct. I am sorry, we do not provide support for .htaccess files. The Apache server is running as it should, if you would like help in .htaccess files, you might be able to find support in our forums.westhost.com site.

But I just got off chat with them and they said it is active and working. I am lost.

well, it is only working because I copied the index.html file from my other site megapun.com. The 403 error is only displayed because it is in the index.html file. The new index.html file does not contain that text in it.

This is the contents of the html file.

<html>
<head>
<title>.</title>
</head>
<body>
.
</body>
</html>

ok, I am chatting with them now...so what you're saying is that currently I can't use .htaccess files on my server?

73

but my web hosts assured me that it is being used. I have it on all my sites.

How do I setup AllowOverride?

Yes, I am 100% sure I can use .htaccess files on the host.

Where can I send you the login info for the FTP?

That didn't help either. sad
