How to include rss feed links?

I'd like to have an "rss" or "subscribe" link included on my main forum page for a feed of all new forum posts.  I'd also like links on each category page that is a feed for just the new posts in that category.  I don't know php, but do know programming, if anyone can nudge me in the right direction.
