I searched the forums for this topic, but did not find any matches.
It would be nice to have the option to toggle between admin and user modes. It make it easier to explain option to users without logging in under another username like I am currently doing.
I am using Coppermine photo gallery with PunBB and it has this feature.

Gallery 2 (http://gallery.sf.net) also has this feature.
It's very nice for viewing websites that deal with user permissions
ie. Login as admin, change a few settings, click the "view as guest" button and then it loads the main page again as it would appear to a normal user or guest. Somehow it doesnt log out the admin user either, becasue you can just as easily click the "view admin" button and go back to that view as well.. or just go back to the admin interface and continue...
Would be a nice thing to implement, but if not.. perhaps a plugin? 
i do it one of two ways. i either create a test account and the other is view it in another browser that isn't logged into the boards. but a "View as guest/member" option would be nice too.
Couldn't be a plugin, simply due to how much stuff plugins can actually do.

I say just download Gallery2, look for the proper code and strip it out and paste it in PunBB
