Little Help

Hello im kind of new to punbb yet alone these forums. For my first question....i was jsut wondering if anyone could tell me how i could possibly make the the integrated punbb miniportal not show the sidelinks at all when you go to forum.php and show the sidelinks when you go to index.php. The reason im asking you this is because i think that when you enter forum.php with the sidelinks still there it makes it harder for my customers to see everything on the forums more clearly. I would appreciate it if someone can help me out with this one.
