Topic: INDEX problem

I use http://www.atspace.com for webhosting and when I goto upload files (im just getting started. Uploading the folder "upload") in the "upload" folder for when you download punbb it has a few files called "index" and when I try to upload more than one file that has the name "index" it says something like I allready have uploaded a file called "index". What should I do? Should I try renaming it? I tried that allready but it says me or someone else is using this file right now. But can somone (if I can) tell me how to rename it without that message? I had no program running that was using any of the "index" files. What do I do?

there should be no more than one index file per folder/dir and you should NOT rename them.. if there is you are doing something wrong. the "upload" folder contains all the files and folders that need to be uploaded to your server. BUT you must MUST keep them in the same folders that they are in when you unzip/rar the archive or else you will not have a functioning forum.

If you are using the free hosting, it appears it doesn't allow PHP.

http://www.atspace.com dos not allow php. Search for another host.
