Topic: Bad request. The link you followed is incorrect or outdated.

I get the message everytime i try to post or reply. I've searched and read other solutions on this error, but those cases seemed different. I can do everything perfectly fine except posting and replying. What could be some possible causes of this error? neutral I did turn on the debug mode, but it doesn't say anything. Thanks in advance.

Re: Bad request. The link you followed is incorrect or outdated.

I had this problem when I changed the directory that PunBB was in (whilst I was working on a Beta version).

Check that your Base URL is correct (under 'Options' in the Administration pages).

HTH

EDIT: Or perhaps I'm thinking of a different error. Do you have a URL?

EDIT: Sorry, yes, I'm thinking of the HTTP_REFERER error. sad You could check the post.php file for some clues though.

What browser are you using?

Re: Bad request. The link you followed is incorrect or outdated.

I'm using Mozilla Firefox and yes, i put the correct base URL. After re-uploading 'posting.php,' the errors were gone, but now every single time I try to update profile, it gives me the Bad Request error. =T

The URL of profile page, after submitting the changes, ends like this:
forums/profile.php?section=essentials&id=2

When I take the amp; off the URL, it works normally though.
How do i fix this it so that there's no 'amp;' T-T?

Note: I already tried every single one shown here.

I just opened profile.php and deleted every single "amp;" in the file.
