An error was encountered
Error: Unable to write configuration cache file to cache directory. Please make sure PHP has write access to the directory 'cache'.

I changed file attribute to 777 on the cache map. Still the same problem.
I deleted the php scripts in the cache map. Still the same problem.

However, this is my usual "luck" when it comes to problem solving. Seems like nobody have the same problem...

And yes, I cleared temporary files in my webbrowser (Firefox 1.5.3) and update page again, but till the  annoying problem.

What to do ?

What FTP client do you use? I had it once with CuteFTP that it refused to chmod higher than 775.
