There's a pm mod on punres. I never used it... so dono...
Just browse punres, and see what you come up with

Are you refering to http://www.punres.org/desc.php?pid=52? Because that's what I'm using, but it doesn't include this specific admin option [to send a PM to a specific usergroup].
Blechs. So many little features missing as mods, it's very hard to customize punBB to the level of other BBs.
