Really really need this feature!
-Phorum used to have it and I miss it sad

there is a mod for this, but I need a plugin as I don't want to break my forum for future upgrades.

can someone make a plugin please?
i did a search and there are others wanting this feature too smile

A plugin can't modify the core of PunBB and therefore could not fulfill your request
In 1.3, there will be extensions which can modify the core using a hook system, thereby allowing your request to be possible
