i really need help.. i want that phorum.. and i upload it with a ftp software.. then i go to install.php but what the ****** is mysql? how do i know what's my local host? and all that?? plz help me!! really need that phorum

does your host provide you with MySQL databases? If it is linux hosting, probably...
You will need to set up a database, and as soon as it is set up, you can type in your database user information in the install.php file.

mysql is a databse. This is where all of your information including members and posts are stored. There are many free databases around the internet that you can use.
