Topic: Weired Error Message About Unknown MySQL Server Just Started Today

This seems to have just started today, May 8, 2007. I use GoDaddy shared hosting and I am running the latest version of Pun. I also am using MySQL 5.

Today I have been getting the following error reported from Pun:
Unable to connect to MySQL server. MySQL reported: Unknown MySQL server host 'h50mysql1.secureserver.net' (2).

Is this something in Pun or is it something going on at GoDaddy?

I bet it is a problem with your host, the DNS returns a private IP address

I believe that it was a GoDaddy problem. I talked with others that seem to have had issues with GoDaddy yesterday as well.
