Topic: VMware - Internet Connecting

Well, I understand this isn't exactly programming but I wasn't sure where else to ask this.

I was wondering if anyone could help me with connecting my Virtual Machine to the internet.

Right now I'm trying to bridge the network to my host computer yet I keep getting errors.

I'm sure theres steps to be taken before I do this but I don't know where to begin any help with this is greatly appreciated.

In VMWare, you can select the network type in the network card settings. Try NAT and Bridged, those usually work.

both doesn't seem to work unless I'm missing something other thant just selecting those 2 options.

I bridge my network yet my virtual machine still wont connect to the internet for some odd reason o.o
