I would like to stress that this is a temporary thing. For the release of 1.3, we'll have a completely redesigned web site.

With a proper documentation, maybe something user improved like a wiki?

Yeah. The documentation is getting an overhaul for 1.3. For that purpose, a wiki might not be a bad idea.

That isn't an official one and also more for developers than users, I believe.

I'd like to second the idea of a wiki. While wikis have their disadvantages (inconsistency for one), I think it would be great if people outside the actual development team could contribute to documentation.

True, to be as useful as possible, a wiki require some planning ahead, and a tight hand at first to get everything organized (or this can turn into the old Mediawiki's wiki).
But whatever the front and/or tech selected, a way to include the community (or part of it) in it would help free some time for the dev team to code more
